Chili Cook-off
ASH FLAT — The Spring River Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a chili cook-off at the Ash Flat Eagle Fest in the Ash Flat Ballpark. The registration fee is $30. A cooks meeting will be held at 8:30 a.m., and the cook-off’s official start time is 9 a.m. Each contestant must cook 2 gallons of chili, and cash prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places.
Fundraiser Concert
BATESVILLE — The Ozark Foothills FilmFest will hold its annual fundraising event at 2 p.m. at Elizabeth’s Restaurant. Proceeds from Steppin’ Out With the Side Street Steppers will support the annual film festival and the annual T Tauri Movie Camp, a summer artist residency project offering video-production workshops for kids and teens. Geocache Scavenger Hunt
