A Little Rock woman was found with methamphetamine and a backpack containing concealed items Tuesday after an officer noticed her unattended child opening a knife in a Walmart Supercenter, according to an arrest report.

Karrilyn Elizabeth Ramos Martinez, 26, reportedly left her two children, ages 8 and 2, alone in the store while she went to a restroom.

Before she returned, a Pulaski County deputy saw the 2-year-old opening an X-Acto knife.

The officer reported taking the knife from the child and, after confronting Ramos Martinez, discovering she had concealed several items in a backpack that she had not paid for.

The officer also reported finding methamphetamine and a meth pipe with residue inside.

Officers charged Ramos Martinez with felony possession of the drugs and paraphernalia, misdemeanor shoplifting and two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor.

She was transferred to the Pulaski County jail but was no longer listed on the jail's roster as of Thursday evening.
