Suspect is arrested in Little Rock burglary attempt

A North Little Rock man is accused of forcing a teen to stand in front of a store Wednesday while he broke out the windows and tried to move the security cameras.

Little Rock police officers found Robert Santiago, 33, walking on Lew Drive near the Dollar Plus Market after the reported robbery attempt and vandalism, according to an arrest report.

A 17-year-old boy reportedly had been walking by when Santiago forced him to stand in front of the building while he defaced it, police said.

Santiago was charged with attempting to commit commercial burglary, false imprisonment, criminal impersonation and disorderly conduct and transferred to the Pulaski County jail, where he remained Wednesday with no bail set.
