Arkansas basketball signee Jemal Farmer has helped lead Cloud County Community College to an 11-3 record thus far. One of the victories was a 74-70 squeaker over Cowley County in the first round of the Jayhawk Shootout in early December.

Update on Knile Davis and Leon Mackey

Arkansas commitment Knile Davis is accompanying a teammate on an official visit to Houston this weekend but remains a firm commitment to Arkansas. This according to Davis in a text to me as of 6:56pm. He said he's a man of his word and will be a Razorback. The visit is just to tag along with his friend. Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino, asst. coaches Lorenzo Ward and Kirk Botkin made an in-home visit with defensive end Leon Mackey Thursday night.

Arkansas was scheduled to get a visit from one of the nations’ top offensive lineman but that has changed. John Martinez (6-3, 290, 4.88) of Cottonwood High in Salt Lake City notified Arkansas earlier in the week that he wasn't taking any other visits.
